History
While
attending a youth camp in Kumba in 1997, the Lord spoke to
Tinshu Genesis but since he was still young in the Lord,
he did not hear clearly what the Lord had said. Subsequent
to this encounter was the birth of Crusade Mission
Discovery Group (CMDG) ministry which he led. Again in
early 2002, Tinshu heard the Lord say:
“I am
sending you to take my everlasting and Eternal Word
to every people I will send you while practically
demonstrating to them my love”
According to this mandate, the name of the ministry was
changed to
Eternal Word Ministries (EWM), to reflect the
commission.
On
November 14, 2004, Buea Community Church (BCC) was
formally planted as the first of our community Churches.
Helps
International (HINT) Cameroon as the charity
department of EWM, takes care of the practical
demonstration of God’s love to the people he sends us.
BCC
seeks to meet as a New Testament Church in the truest
sense of the word by giving a faithful representation of
the body of Christ and by obeying the commandments of the
Lord. Discipleship is the moving force and cornerstone of
the BCC and every new member is required to commit to
regular evangelism and/or discipleship.

another, and seek
to make a significant impact in their community.

To bring
people to Jesus Christ and membership in his
Church, build them to Christ-like maturity, and
equip them for their ministry in the church and
life
mission in the world, in order to magnify
God.
